Growth & Business Diagnostic

You built the product. But nobody taught you how to build the market around it.

When growth is inconsistent, founders often search for another channel, campaign or tactic.

But the real problem may begin earlier—with the customer, positioning, offer, pricing, activation or product direction.

We help you identify where the commercial system is breaking and what should happen next.

01You started with the product

You may know the product better than anyone. That does not mean you were prepared to market it.

Perhaps you are a developer, a product builder or an expert in the problem the product solves. You understood what should exist, so you made it real.

Marketing came later.

Suddenly you were expected to define an ideal customer, create a positioning strategy, design pricing, select acquisition channels, understand conversion, improve retention and decide which metrics mattered.

You may have tried to learn it yourself. You may have hired an agency or freelancer. You may have experimented with content, advertising, outbound sales, partnerships or a new website.

Some of it may have worked.

But the business still does not feel like a commercial system you can explain, measure and repeat. That is the gap this Diagnostic addresses.

02The problem behind the problem

The product may not need more promotion. It may need a clearer business.

  • Perhaps people visit the website but do not understand the product.
  • Perhaps they understand it but do not see enough reason to buy.
  • Perhaps they buy but never reach the moment that makes them stay.
  • Perhaps growth still depends on your personal network, your energy or your ability to explain the product on a call.
  • Perhaps marketing appears to be underperforming because the product serves too many audiences, the offer is unclear or the activation experience does not deliver value quickly enough.

These may look like separate problems.

Often, they are symptoms of the same missing commercial structure.

03What we examine

We begin with the question behind every growth strategy.

What are customers really paying you for?

From there, we examine who the strongest customers are, what problem they are trying to solve and whether the positioning reflects that problem clearly.

We assess whether the offer is coherent, whether the pricing supports the business model and whether the product is being sold in a way that matches how the customer actually buys.

We look at how people discover the product, what happens before conversion and whether new customers reach value quickly enough to remain.

We examine acquisition, activation, retention, sales and commercial metrics as parts of one customer system.

We also examine the product roadmap. Because when the team builds features that do not strengthen customer value, differentiation, activation or retention, the growth problem will not be solved by marketing alone.

04Questions it answers

The commercial decisions you need to make deliberately.

The Diagnostic is designed to help answer questions such as:

  • Who is the strongest current customer?
  • What problem are they actually paying to solve?
  • Can the product be explained clearly and quickly?
  • Is the positioning meaningfully differentiated?
  • Does the offer reflect the customer’s buying logic?
  • Is the current pricing coherent?
  • Which acquisition methods fit the company’s current stage?
  • Where does the customer journey lose momentum?
  • Which metrics should guide the next 90 days?
  • What should the company stop doing?
05What you receive

A commercial direction you can understand and operate.

You receive a Growth & Business Founder Scorecard covering the applicable business, product and growth areas.

Each major finding explains the evidence, risk, commercial consequence and recommended action.

The Diagnostic includes a written report, a 60–90 minute final presentation and an approximately 30-minute follow-up after 14 days.

You should leave understanding
  • which customer segment deserves focus;
  • what needs to change in the positioning;
  • whether the offer and pricing are coherent;
  • where the customer journey is losing value;
  • which growth activities deserve continued investment;
  • which metrics should guide decisions;
  • which initiatives should stop competing for attention.

06Scope and requirements

Direction before production.

The Growth & Business Diagnostic does not include campaign production, advertising management, website delivery, content creation, sales execution or analytics implementation.

Those activities may eventually be useful. But first, the company needs a commercial direction strong enough to guide them.

Requirements

The founder must participate directly in the kick-off and provide the relevant commercial, customer, product and analytics information.

You must also be willing to question the current positioning, audience, offer and roadmap.

The purpose is not to confirm the story you already tell about the business. It is to understand whether the evidence supports it.

Stop adding tactics to a business you cannot yet clearly explain.

Build a clearer commercial direction and leave with a focused 90-day operating plan.
